This first picture here is what the walls look like now. I have that "awesome" 1973 wood paneling in my family room.
Here is some spackle work that I did to fill in some holes from screws that I took out of the wall.

Here are the stripes. I read that doing the lines in between the panels first was the best way to start. So that's what I did. Since I am short you can see where I could reach too.
Now it's time to bring out the ladder to get the top.
Here you can still see the paneling behind the primer, so I let it dry the next day and went back to painting the very next night.

You can see where I have now done the baseboard in that area and the crown at the top!
This weekend hubby is taking down the speakers on the wall that's part of the surround sound. TV comes out of he corner and it's on to the next step.
