Shadow Box
So after I made the card I just posted on here, I made a shadow box to go with it.
It took me like 2 days to do it. I really wasn't sure what I was doing to begin with, but I managed to get it done. The person I gave it to loved it!!!

Making a Card...part 2
OK....so I've been working a little more on my card and here's what I was able to come up with.
I am going to write a small note up top on the inside of the card.

Making a card....
I started making a new card over the weekend. I got as far as a few punches.
Then N O T H I N G....my mind was drawing a blank. SO I decided to walk away from it and that I would come back later. I did just that tonight. I started cutting 1 inch strips to put on the front and then I put two stickers on it. OK....so far so good. I am now staring at the card and wondering ...... OK what next?!? So I am going to walk away in hopes of thinking of something really cool to do next!

Back to work!
OK.....so after being off of work for 3 weeks I am finally back. 1 week I as off due to snow and the other 2 weeks I was off from having surgery on my right hand to fix my carpel tunnel. It's been tough as I have been using my hand a lot, so it's sore at the end of the work day.
What I hate most is I can't scrap yet!!! I need some more strength in my hand before I can do it.
After doing my first glass etching on Sunday night I was so delighted that I wanted to cut more vinyl and use it. LOL!! So I ended up cutting a flower and putting it on my cricut. I want to do more I'd like to do my name as well.
Here's what it looks like:
I can't wait to get back to crafting that's for sure. I miss being able to scrapbook and I really want to get back to make some cards as well.
