Yep a skins fan here!! So I had to start with the stripes again today.
Here I am coming around past the fireplace and working my way down the long wall.
Another shot of the wall striped.
1st coat of primer over the fireplace. You can see some spackling I did on the mantel.
Ok here I am with that primer past the fireplace and down the wall!!

LOOK...more painting
Well its now on to the next part of the room.
Yes I enjoy watching football!! Actually I love it!
Here is where I started over the slider.
Getting ready to stripe more wall space.
It's getting there!
Now for some primer on the wall~
Working hard and watching football!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Here I am coming around the corner and getting on the far wall
Working hard to get to the fireplace
Thought I would go ahead and do some primer on the mantel on the corner to see what I am about to get myself into
OOPS....got some paint on the brick - HAHAHAHA...now I can see what doing the fireplace is going to be like too
Now on to doing some spackle on mantle and some holes in the wall too
Decided to go ahead and do some stripes
WOOHOO...making progress now
Next half of the back wall to be done
other side of the room that still needs to be done
So it looks as though this coming weekend will be one busy one!!!!
to be continued..............

Creating my beach house
This first picture here is what the walls look like now. I have that "awesome" 1973 wood paneling in my family room.
Here is some spackle work that I did to fill in some holes from screws that I took out of the wall.
Another view of the wall before the painting
Here are the stripes. I read that doing the lines in between the panels first was the best way to start. So that's what I did. Since I am short you can see where I could reach too.
Now it's time to bring out the ladder to get the top.
Here you can still see the paneling behind the primer, so I let it dry the next day and went back to painting the very next night.
Please excuse my punching bag!
My hand after painting more
You can see where I have now done the baseboard in that area and the crown at the top!
This weekend hubby is taking down the speakers on the wall that's part of the surround sound. TV comes out of he corner and it's on to the next step.
